Day 1: Departure to Amsterdam
– KLM flight from EDI to AMS: As we were previously visiting Edinburgh, Scotland, we made our way to Amsterdam via KLM. The journey was smooth, and the aerial view of the Dutch landscape was a promising introduction to our next destination. Amsterdam, with its intricate network of canals and unique architecture, awaited us with open arms.
– Park Centraal hotel: Upon our arrival in Amsterdam, we checked into the Park Centraal hotel. This elegant establishment offered a perfect blend of contemporary comfort and classic charm. – Anne Frank House: Our first full day in Amsterdam began with a poignant visit to the Anne Frank House. Stepping into the annex where Anne and her family hid during World War II was a powerful experience.
